Preschool kids can bring exciting Sodor railway adventures to life with these Thomas & Friends talking motorized toy trains from Fisher-Price. Each battery-powered engine is styled to look like a different character from the show and features real character phrases and sounds! Just press the button on top of the engine to send the train racing along with fun sounds and phrases. Kids can collect all the talking engines to hear them recognize and interact with each other—just like they do in the Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go! series! (Each train sold separately and subject to availability.) Requires 2 AAA batteries. Colors and decorations may vary.

Review: This thing perseveres - This has been a lot of fun. It does fit on a wooden train track such as the one for IKEA, it is just a little wide though so it doesn't handle turns super well. The battery life isn't great, but we do play with it a lot. It doesn't go into a true standby mode. If one of them gets bumped in a toy box they start talking to each other and I have found that if it is moving and it comes to a wall it will just keep trying to push forward for an absurdly long time which definitely adds to his battery issues. One of my very favorite features is the location of the speaker which is in a prime spot to add a piece of packing tape over to quiet it down a bit. All that said though I absolutely do love it. We have several of them at home and they have brought us great joy. They function simply enough that kids can operate them, there is no assembly required And some of these have survived drops, falls and crashes in our home for years without getting broken which is a pretty impressive feat. The paint and plastic still look great despite extensive use.

This has been a lot of fun. It does fit on a wooden train track such as the one for IKEA, it is just a little wide though so it doesn't handle turns super well. The battery life isn't great, but we do play with it a lot. It doesn't go into a true standby mode. If one of them gets bumped in a toy box they start talking to each other and I have found that if it is moving and it comes to a wall it will just keep trying to push forward for an absurdly long time which definitely adds to his battery issues. One of my very favorite features is the location of the speaker which is in a prime spot to add a piece of packing tape over to quiet it down a bit. All that said though I absolutely do love it. We have several of them at home and they have brought us great joy. They function simply enough that kids can operate them, there is no assembly required And some of these have survived drops, falls and crashes in our home for years without getting broken which is a pretty impressive feat. The paint and plastic still look great despite extensive use.
