Much better than the older models that look similar. Same look but better light . The complaints about this seem to be from just not being familiar with the design. The battery goes in just like my 20 year old model. You have the option of using a large 6v battery or using the battery cartridge that holds 4 aaa batteries. They installed the battery cartridge in the flashlight with one of them not completely pushed in all the way so it doesn't get turned on accidentally during shipping. I got a rechargeable 6v lithium battery for it and it is excellent. Review: An Excellent Buy - The lantern is an excellent purchase. During a recent winter storm, I thought we might lose power, and the old lantern we owned couldn't be found! I ordered this one; thankfully, we did not lose power, but we were prepared! ## Features - [Energizer Lantern]: One WeatheReady Waterproof & Floating Lantern has a beam distance that covers the length of 2.5 stadium fields - [Use Cases]: A versatile portable lantern, this LED light is ideal for camping, boating or any emergency situation - [Bright Lantern Flashlight]: 275 lumen waterproof lantern is 12x brighter than the standard LED technology with up to a 250-meter beam distance - [100-Hour Runtime]: Up to 100 hours of reliable lighting for long-lasting illumination - [Convenient Features]: Non-slip handle for easy gripping, IP67 waterproof rating and floating for easy water recovery - [Battery Operated]: Operates on 4 AA batteries (included) - [Trusted Performance]: Trust in the Energizer brand for reliable power and performance in any situation ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0C3HZ5YB2 | | Additional Features | Led Light | | Batteries are Included | No | | Battery Description | Alkaline | | Battery Type | Alkaline | | Best Sellers Rank | #156,885 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #397 in Electric Camping Lanterns | | Brand Name | Energizer | | Color | Multicolor | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars (230) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 30039800143267 | | Included Components | Electronics | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 5.3"D x 7.9"W x 7"H | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 5.31"L x 7.95"W x 7.01"H | | Item Type Name | HandHeld Lights | | Light Path Distance | 250 Meters | | Light Source Special Features | Waterproof, Floating, Non-slip Handle | | Light Source Type | LED | | Manufacturer | Energizer | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | N/a. | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | ENDOLN6V1A | | Mounting Type | Tabletop Mount | | Number of Batteries | 4 AA batteries required. | | Number of Light Sources | 1 | | Power Source | Battery Powered | | Runtime | 100 hours | | Shape | Cylindrical with Rectangular Base | | Specification Met | IP 67 | | Style Name | Floating Lantern | | Voltage | 6 Volts | | Water Resistance Level | Waterproof | | White Brightness | 275 Lumens | ## Product Details - **Color:** Multicolor - **Light Source Type:** LED - **Material:** Plastic - **Power Source:** Battery Powered - **Special Feature:** Led Light ## Images ![WeatheReady Waterproof & Floating Lantern, 275 Lumens, IP67 Waterproof, Outdoor and Emergency Light, 100-Hour Runtime, Pack of 1 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61lefU+evrL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice light *by B***D on August 21, 2025* This flashlight is good.
