I did not get them to adhere to toilet. My daughter did eventually figure out how to open them so I had to use a different style safety lock. These probably are not a good idea for real wood cabinets. You have to pry these off which leaves most of adhesive on cabinets. Using a razor or putty knife is what you will need to get it off which is going to scratch your cabinet. I ended up buying Goo Gone and rag and my fingernail to get it off. I did two applications of Goo Gone to get it all off. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Child Safety Locks are a MUST! *by D***K on Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2018* These are very easy to install and operate.
