I don't have any issues with this unless I overstuff the wallet part the of the case because then it won't close all the way (duh) in addition if you don't have the case closed (with the magnet belt closed) then you can potentially drop your phone but, only if the belt is not shut all the way and if you have the wrist belt on while swinging it around on the wrist. Like in other terms it's nearly impossible to drop your phone unless you are being careless, with that being said I've dropped it 3 times this year..... In addition, the phone case is a magnet which is super cool because I can take it off with an ease that way I don't have to put my entire wallet up to my ear. I'd 100% buy this again and I plan to when I wear this case out.
