I have two base stations - one upstairs and one downstairs. The handsets upstairs are registered with the base station downstairs and the handsets downstairs are registered with the base station upstairs and it all works fine. Note though that if you are intending to use the built-in answering machine you can only have one switched on otherwise the caller hears two recorded messages slightly out of sync - very confusing! **Q: Will this work with kxtgd320?** A: Hi Kathy.. I initially had exactly the same issue with my new handset. With 'Base No Power' or 'No link reconnect A/C adaptor' on the screen, my main base phone refused to register my second handset and it would not work ! The instructions did not help either. Could have taken me ages...... Dealers and manufacturers of this product should note this. I did exactly what the reviewer said. I switched the main base phone unit off and took out the batteries. Then I put them back in, switched the phone on again, pressed the Locator button, and it organised both handsets immediately. No problem. That said.
