That connection on the side of the wheel is for the pedals to connect to. **Q: Will it work on pc** A: Yes. I bought it to use on my Windows 10 laptop and it works well with programs that support it. Problems arise with older programs that won't accept it. There are usually ways around this with a bit of tinkering.
