Q: Can this toilet seat be fitted from the top as the toilet is sealed to the wall

I'm not entirely sure what you mean but the securing fittings are a push fit into the holes and it is necessary to hold the seat and cover upright and press them into the holes. I guess that if you have access to the holes, fitting is straightforward. If I remember correctly the old seat was retained by wing type nuts beneath the toilet bowl. If you can access these to remove the old seat, then you should be able to push the new seat into position from the top without any problems. I hope this helps - Best wishes Peter

No, I don’t believe so as I was looking for a soft close too.

I am not sure but I know it fits perfectly and is an a genuine and exact replacement seat for the Roca dama toilet which was manufactured around 2002/3
