After that, he would go on to star in 2 serials, this is those serials. First is The Green Hornet, from 1940. Second is The Green Hornet Strikes Again, from 1941. After these, the creator of the 1966 Batman tv series, William Dozier, would create a Green Hornet tv series later that same year. The Green Hornet would also guest star on the Batman tv series. There was a short film in 2006. And then a hilarious movie in 2011 starring Seth Rogen. As for these serials, they are great and I recommend adding this piece of history to your collection. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If I had only known... *by G***G on Reviewed in the United States on March 26, 2021* I didn’t realize this was so good or I would’ve purchased it a long time ago... I only ever saw the Green Hornet on that one crossover episode of Batman and then that movie which was a little too comedic... I’m hoping the sequel movie will be a little more dramatic like this movie serial... by the way, I’m hoping for a tv series dvd/blu-ray release timed to come out with the sequel movie. Anyway, I digress... this movie serial is probably one of the best I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen so many... loved it... I recommend it to any and all movie serial fans... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ THE GREEN HORNET IN ACTION *by P***Y on Reviewed in the United States on April 5, 2015* I am a collector of Serials and I must say I give credit to VCI and Universal for producing a very nice and clear print of this 13 chapter serial. The serial was filmed in 1939 and released in 1940 starring Gordon Jones. The plot is to expose different rackets that have overpowered the city and the leading newspaper editor takes upon himself as the "The Green Hornet" to do away with the syndicate. The "Green Hornet" has a faithful cohort called "Kato" played by Keye Luke. Truly, this is a great action packed serial to add to your collection.
