I thought though an account of my experiences would help. I was promised . delivery between the 22nd. and the 24th. of August - it arrived on the 20th. The good comments made by others concerning the packaging was deserved and after extracting the microphone from it I was already feeling that I had made a good purchase. It feels great and has a real professional look about it. I fitted it to a mic stand I already had using the supplied adaptor ring - so far so good. Next came the connection to my computer. I plugged it in and the chimes indicated that it had been instantly recognised. Audacity was next to get my attention and, on starting I found that the mic was already available for selection. I pressed the record button and I was in business. The procedure, after I had got it out of the packaging was around 2 minutes.After a few trial recordings my expectations were exceeded. The recording quality was superb and even without the wind guard fitted it did not seem to exhibit any popping. One criticism made by others was that the output signal strength was low but I found that with both the mic gain and the input gain in Audacity set at around 85% I was achieving a 100% recording level on speech at 15 cm distance I have to report that this microphone was a real surprise. It looks and feels like something far more expensive and the record quality is most satisfying. It is great to feel that there are bargains out there to be had.. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Wow! Before buying I did quite a lot of research online and particularly by reading reviews on Amazon.Many of the recommended by online podcasters etc were outside my budget at the present so when I found the FiFine for around £25 I was tempted by the great reviews others had given it. So I took the plunge and when it arrived I wasn't disappointed!The packaging was of a high quality and the contents looked the same. The mic itself feels great in your hand. It is weighty and made of metal so it looks the part.It has a long cable which does not limit where you can go away from your PC or laptop.It was easy to setup and after a few tweaks to the volume and echo controls I was up and running!.Wow! I was amazed at the quality of the audio from it considering the price and that did not mean you had to be holding it in front of your mouth. It's a nice sized Microphone !By the time you have the Mic on the stand, it's around the same desk space and height as my Blue Ice Snowball.The Microphone and all accessories needed comes nicely and neatly boxed, with adequate packaging.You get the Microphone itself, a long USB lead approx 2.4M long, the stand for the lead, and the clip that screws onto the stand which holds the Microphone nice and securely.You then get the addition of a foam cover for the top of the Microphone too !
