**Q: dimension.. how many inches from the corner does it come out on each side? in other words, is the 31.5 equally divided on each side of the "l"**
A: Yes its equal length on each side.

**Q: How deep are the shelves? There’s nothing showing how deep they are. Don’t look super deep but needing measurement actual shelf. Thanks.**
A: The top shelve is 12 inches but the others are only 11 inches.

**Q: Does this have fixed in lighting to light up as it shows in the photo?**
A: There was no lighting in the shelving unit we purchased.  I don't remember lighting being advertised

**Q: How deep are the shelves**
A: Just under 10.25 inches.

This is the perfect shelf for the space purchased. Assembly was straight forward, didn't need 2nd pair of hands (but states it required). Very sturdy. Height fits perfectly in the room and holds quite a bit of displays. The stability is perfect as it has the adjustable feet for uneven surfaces.
