Worked brilliantly for us the first time, didn't disappoint this time. 2 week old baby always used to cry badly when it's nappy changing time, since we have the radiant heater installed this has improved a lot. Just put it on as soon as baby need changing, the device heats up very quickly. Also comes with two settings, depending on how chilly the room is - this comes in especially handy at night time when central heating is turned off as not to overheat the baby during sleeping hours, can warm up the nappy changing table area only. At first we thought the heat lamp would keep the nappy changer warm rather than the baby, because the angle of the heating element head looks a bit like the warmth wouldn't be able to go straight down. But it does! Only given 4 stars instead of 5 because the cable attached to the device is really very short! The device needs to be attached to the wall with a distance of 1 meter to the surface of the nappy changing unit, for us this means that the power cable doesn't even touch the floor but dangles in front of the wall, so the extension lead we use is dangling a bit to which can lead to the electric plug dropping out.
