My cats are grazers, it takes a full day to finish a bowl of food, so we need a true ant-proof bowl. This isn't it.If you are looking for a nice bowl for your pets and don't have ant invaders in your home, this is a good pick. We've had it for a few weeks and it's holding up nicely to my voracious pug (he eats his food immediately, so ants don't have a chance to find the food). It's nice too since it holds a cup of food and that's all he's supposed to get a day.
