Comparing it to my previous bag of pellets, Pit Boss Competition Blend and Traegers Hickory. The Brisk It Oak pellets imparted a smokier note to my pork belly, with no bitterness and I also noticed there was less ash on my meat when I was spritzing it. My family noticed the difference immediately. The price is comparable to other major brands but I feel the end results are incomparable. Good smoky flavor and not feeling like you have to rinse off the ash on your meat before can you eat it. The smoked pork bellies with a dry rub was so good that we forgot to take a pic of the smoke ring.
