I apply it to my inner lip, then press a bit and I’m ready to go. It’s got a sort of scatter effect to the pigment particles, so your natural lip color is viewable underneath unless you really smother your lips with it. I recommend especially for mature beauties.

I use these Dasique colors on my cheeks and lips. I add a touch of gloss on top to give it moisture. It looks absolutely beautiful!!! It blends easily with my finger on my cheeks and feels like a lightweight powder-cream formula. If I were to apply less to my lips and buff it with my finger or a lip brush it would look like the perfect French 'bouche mordue'. I'll definitely be buying another Redwood and trying more shades. I also have Dear Rose which is softer and more subtle but it seems to be unavailable right now. Buy this with confidence.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ kinda drying, very pigmented, perfect for olive skin tones

i have a cooler olive undertone and this shade looked absolutely gorgeous!! it's very smooth and blurring, but it does dry pretty fast (i like to smudge out the edges for a feathered look). it has an almost oil feel to it, feels like theres nothing on your lips at all while still being super pigmented and matte. that being said, it does dry out your lips so i use aquaphor on top after its dried. the stain/tint is pretty okay all things considered and is more transfer proof than some of the other matte tints i've tried. overall, 8/10
