Not what you'd expect, but they are better in SO many waysFirst the major numbers on the back:(I've attached a picture):13 pieces gets you 10G of carbs, not 15 mentioned below.Plus, most Carb counting dieters will deduct the Malitol (5g) and Fiber (3g) from the total giving you a "Net Carbs" of only 2G of carbs for 13 pieces!!That's stunning! Okay, so how do they taste? AMAZING. Are they full-fledged chocolate? No. Obviously. But they have an interesting texture because the have a chocolate powder on the outside. Yet, they don't have the flavor of some almonds that ONLY have powder, mind you. There seems to be some combination of powder, and more traditional low-carb chocolate the end result is a friggin delicious treat. Not sure how someone rated it only two stars, as I have to stop myself from gobbling down an entire bag. I've heard that malitol will slow down weight loss (which is why I don't go crazy with these) but at least it doesn't en up in massive weight GAIN either.Are these EXACTLY like chocolate covered almonds with 30G of sugar? NO. But I'd say they're about 80-90% there without any weird aftertaste, and unless you have a massive sweet tooth, these are going to be an amazing substitute.
