Review: Highly recommend filter box - Finally got round to plumbing this filter into my system and what a difference it has made, within a couple of days I noticed a change in the colour, just over a week and it looked like the pond had just been filled from the tap, pond is 7600lts and the pump being used is 8000lph with the water going through a 36w UV unit, this has replaced a 15000 pressure filter I was using along with a 12000 pressure filter which is still in use supplying a waterfall with a 6000lph pump. I have not had any problems with flow rate or leaks, and have just carried out a clean after 4 weeks of running and was surprised how much debris had been removed from the pond. Highly recommend, well made, easy to set up and great value for money, when the time comes to replace the waterfall filter another one of these will be ordered. The supply to all 3 is regulated by a flow tap. Suggest contacting APS to find out the max and min lph for this filter. **Q: I’m thinking of buying the 18000l system. Can anyone tell me, is it possible to connect two of these 18000L systems together. Happy days. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant little box *by S***7 on 9 June 2022* Bought this to replace an ancient Blagdon unit. This time I opted box without UVC and then bought an in-line one separately. I've seen a few comments about it being no good because you have to clean it frequently. In my mind that just means those filter sponges are doing their job properly as if you didn't have to keep cleaning them it would mean the stuff is getting through and back into your pond. I should have probably bought the next size up and my pump is a little bit too powerful for it but I solved the problem by attaching a second pipe to the other inlet hose tail and feeding it round the waterfall and into the pond, as a sort of overflow. I really can't remember the last time my pond was this clean.
