I was moving to another country where I would be hanging my wash on the line and needed clothes pins after a lifetime of dryers. I am now down in Costa Rica and I can tell you these are junk clothes pins. They break apart constantly. I throw away five or six with every wash. They do hold the clothes on the line but I will have run out of them by Christmas. I had no idea someone could built a junk clothes pin that that is what I bought. Hopefully I can find replacements down here. I would never buy these again, and if I lived in the US I would send them right back. How can China screw up a clothes pin? And yet, they have. ### ⭐⭐ These clothespins are NOT made in the USA *by L***T on Reviewed in the United States on September 8, 2018* I bought these particular clothespins as they were labeled by Hechay USA. THEY ARE MADE IN CHINA! This is false advertising. Every wooden clothespin that I have bought over the last few years has been made in China and they all fall apart after limited use. I figured these would be better quality if they were made in USA. I didn't mind paying a little more for a quality product. Don't waste your money! ### ⭐⭐ Good materials, bad assembly *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on August 15, 2018* Literally 2/3 of these clothespins were very wobbly when opening them. The metal hinge is wider than the wood halves inside it, and so except for the few where the metal was crimped extra close, they felt ready to twist apart during use (I threw those 2/3 away). Two stars instead of one because the wood feels strong, dense, and smooth, and the metal hinge wire is thick and springy/strong.
