Make sure you wear seamless underwear because you can see through the shape of any underwear. I am 5'9 and usually a size 8-10 in other clothes, so I bought a medium and it fits perfectly the bottom of the dress doesn't hit the floor but just above. Heels are probably recommended when wearing this but you could still wear trainers with it. Also it has adjustable straps!
