I tried all 3 and none worked for me. The 2 pulled everything I used it on and ruined one of my nice bedspreads. The 3rd one that didn't pull just didn't pull any hair up either. I am sending them back.

I got these cleaners to help clean up after some VERY fluffy kitties. Our cat tree is absolutely caked with very fine hair and I was hoping to clear it out a bit but I wasn't sure what kind of scraper to get so I opted for the multipack. First up the metal one with the blue handle is kind of like a spring/coil design. It didn't do very well at picking up on the cat tree or couch but it might work better on dog hair. It's got very small areas for the fur to be picked up. The long blue handle plastic one has two different length combs on each side and it works decently well. Hair doesn't get caught in it and it is pretty effective at picking it up. Just make sure you use it so that both sides contact the cleaning surface so you're using two combs. The third and final one, the most effective one, is the pink handled plastic scraper. It has two sides -- the light side which is just plastic teeth in a grid pattern kind of spread out and it works very well but the other side, the dark plastic side, are plastic teeth in a tight grid pattern and that is by far the most effective on the cat tree. It picks up very well but you do have to pull the hair out of it so it's kind of a two handed process but it's extremely effective. Overall you can go for this kit or go find a standalone with that tight grid pattern and you'll be fine. For less caked hair you can also get a fabric-toothed roller like a chom-chom but those are much more expensive than these.

The silicone/rubber tools work great on fabrics. I have a cat with dark fur. Bedspreads and upholstery don't always show his cat hair well. I just rub/scrape this over the material and it effectively digs up any hidden hair. I am often surprised at how much it can pick up. Also, works great when their is a lot of hair as well such as your cat's favorite resting places. This tool takes a lot less time to get up the hair than using the vacuum attachment. I use the mid size tool on my jackets and pants where I used to use a tape roller. I haven't really had a need for the small metal tool and am not really sure I need it but there is enough value hear that the price is worth the two larger tools.

I think that your happiness with this product is going to depend upon what surface you end up using it on. I specifically picked this up to use on the rug in my entry way. It catches dog hair (and probably my hair as well) and it simply doesn’t come up well with the vacuum cleaner. When I opened the package I did a quick trial on that rug and it immediately pulled up the hair. Now I use it every other day do always before running the vacuum over it and that rug hasn’t looked this good since I first got it.There are multiple tools included in the package. So you have several options to choose from when you are deciding which tools will work best with whatever surface you are trying to clean. There is an pictorial insert which identifies a variety of different surfaces and indicates which of the tools is best suited for that particular surface. In terms of clothing, I used this on a wool coat and it did a great job of taking off dog hair but I wouldn’t use it on more delicate items. It indicates you can use it on bedding, but you have to use good judgment. My current bedspread has a pattern of stitching on it and I wouldn’t risk tearing some of that stitching with one of these tools. If you’re concerned about possible damage, start small in an unobtrusive spot. For me, this does what I want it to do.

Two of them are better for clothing, and the they can all be used on carpet, etc.We have dogs that shed A LOT. I have been looking for hair removers to remove the hair from my clothing, but most say not to use on knitted fabrics. These can not only be used on clothing, but work great. I have added before and after photos of how this worked on my pants after my dog rubbed against me. It is pretty impressive. They can also be cleaned and reused over and over.I can recommend this product.

I was frustrated when trying to vacuum out my van before a trip. My daughter and I have long hair and it is very hard to get loose out of the carpet. I got these for that purpose since we don't have pets. I didn't know what type was best so I gave this variety set a try. My van was clean when they came but I tried it on the carpet in my daughter's room. The pink handled one seemed to work the best there. It was amazing! It picked up so much hair that you couldn't even see or feel! And the second best part it that it comes off the brush SO easily to be thrown away! Hair is such a pain. I think these will come in so handy for many other jobs like fleece blankets that still hold on to hair even after going through the wash and dryer.Definitely worth a try!
