I would be worried about putting it in a plastic bath and think it would be hard to get it down the plug hole. Re hopper surely it would be easier to just cut or pull the roots out. **Q: Can this be used to clear roots from cast iron pipe** A: I tried it but don’t think it worked. Which would cost way more! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This works *by M***K on 11 January 2026* Great product ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ arrived early- good condition *by S***L on 22 July 2020* Well packaged and in good condition - flushed easily and I hope it works - its a bit early to say. I saw one review where it was no longer powder but this was airtight and triple wrapped in good condition-frothed up nicely and flushed no problem - went to work - no weird chemical odours when I returned. I hope it works because I and unable to access the roots or kill the offending tree. Some granules remained at the bottom of the bowl for a few days afterwards but him used to that with the rock salt I've been using.
