## Description

Versatile scissors from Japan, capable of cutting many different tricky materials (e.g. electrical cable, leather, kevlar/nylon fibre, thick rope etc (see product gallery for more examples). These scissors have a large comfort grip, allowing the user to apply force - and with safety due to the built in finger guard. The stainless steel 2-in-1 combi blades have both micro serrations for cutting materials like kevlar/nylon fibre & PET (plastic) and coarse serrations at the rear of the blade for cutting thicker materials such as electrical cable, coax, rope & much more. Supplied with a plastic protective cap.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can these be sharpened , or do they go in the bin after a couple months of cutting?**
A: One edge is serrated so more difficult to sharpen. The other edge is smooth and can be sharpened like other scissors. I have been using mine to cut loft insulation, carpet, plastic sheeting, nylon rope (as used for washing lines), and leather constantly for the past month or more and they are still as sharp as when I bought them. The serrations are great because they help grip materials when cutting. I don't use the sheath because it's just an added annoyance for me but it provides a way to store them safely. I would definitely buy another pair if I broke mine. I haven't tried the wire cutting slots, I have proper wire cutters for that work.
