However they must have drastically changed the way it ships because if you see my picture each piece was encased in foam in the box, and the box was in bubble wrap. Nothing was broken. Writes super smooth on my slate chalkboard and erases very well too. Colors pop out super bright. I have nothing but good things to say about this chalk. Will definitely buy again when I’m running low. My local dollar store and Walmart both did not have chalk when I was looking for it so ordering this was worth it for me to save on the time it took me to look for a product that wasn’t even there.

**Q: How well does it do on chalkboards**
A: This chalk does very well on my chalkboard and so does the eraser that comes with it. Well worth the money.

**Q: Will this work on wall painted chalkboards?**
A: Yes! I use them on my painted metal door.

**Q: Where is this chalk manufactured?**
A: Made In Korea

**Q: Will this chalk write easily on a chalk graph board?  Last chalk I bought was so hard that it wouldn't even write on the board.**
A: I used a high quality chalkboard paint to create a large chalkboard in my kitchen for my kids. This chalk does not work well. It's "dustless" so it's extremely hard. Sounds like glass when dropped on the counter top. It makes small lines, the colored ones all appear white on the board, and it leaves behind noticeable scratches. It worked a little better on my kids' chalkboard easel (not painted) but not great. We went back to regular old crayola chalk and will not attempt dustless chalk in the future. I'm not sure if this is helpful, but I hope it at least gives a little insight

These are strong and they write smoothly and there is no dust from them when writing and I think these are after for my child when he uses them to write or draw on the chalk board
