They make for a stylish gift!I've dropped a star on these for two (minor) reasons. Firstly, the glasses are exceedingly light - it is quite surprising when you first unpackage them! They subsequently feel very delicate, and I'm unsure how well they would hold up if knocked. It was quite nerve wracking using these with an aeropress for the first time - I almost expected them to shatter beneath the force - but they have stood up to multiple uses so far. The second issue is that, despite being well packaged, one of the glasses had some very faint scratches/scuffs on the outside. Yes they are quite delicate but they are amazing and no problems with smashing as of yet or and ingress of fluid between the two layers. It's crazy how long the drink stays warm in this! 40 mins later my tea is still just above luke warm and drinkable, with nothing coving the top, great for someone who has a milly tea to help keep it hot or if you're like me and make a tea and then get busy and foget and come back to it! No need to keep sticking it in the microwave for re-heating :) The glass also does not get hot to hold on the outside because of the double insulation, even with a fresh boiling brew. Would definitely recommend getting some. Also cup is of a good size still! They are made of extremely thin and fragile looking glass, remember test tubes in your school days Chemistry lessons? These are the same stuff.In practice though looks can be deceiving, they are extremely tough, very easy to clean, they look brilliant, lovely shaped design, easy to hold either by the handle or just holding the cup which due to the double wall never gets more than slightly warm.
