These tables are easy to assemble and seem sturdy for what they are. I have them on carpet and they are not very sturdy as far as tipping side to side. I've made sure they sit flush with the arm of my couch and they are fine, but I would not want these sitting on carpet without something to prop them against. When I tried them on my linoleum kitchen floor, they did not have the same tippy feel, so it is definitely the carpet not the tables. But it is something to be aware of.

Very compact, which was perfect for our use. We needed a place for drinks next to a sofa in a very small space. Tables look good, and are sturdy. They are a bit tippy due to the narrow base, but next to the sofa it is not a concern. Putting them together was very easy.
