It's been 3 weeks, now, and the material stays shiny like new. It's also very sturdy. I can fit 3 large bottles on the top, 3 medium in the middle, then there's a soap "tray" that I use for shavers. I hang my squeegee on the bottom hooks. I don't utilize the suction or put any sticky tape. It really doesn't need it.
