The unit didn’t stay in place well, which made it hard to get consistent cooling where I expected it. Even when it was positioned correctly, the cooling effect was pretty minimal and didn’t feel strong enough to justify the price. The design looks sleek, but functionally it fell short. Might work better in very specific conditions, but for wearable cooling that involves a lot of moving around, I’d look elsewhere. Review: Doesn’t help cool at all - was hoping this item would provide some relief for the lack of AC in my work truck but it doesn’t do much even when it’s only 75 degrees out. The contact plate does get cold as it turns, but the air vents on it constantly crank out hot air down your back and up the back of your neck as a result so you end up sweating more in the area this “cooling device” is than anywhere else. Maybe if the vents were set up differently it would help but the way it is it’s useless for cooling.
