Both fit. Both work. I've been using the Quicksilver version for years on a 4-stroke Mercury 50 EFI. So far, so good. The filter will tell you what size threads match the system, if it fits it will work. Your manual will tell you what size you need or look at your old filter and type in the serial # for the correct match.
