I like to think that the intention of the 'stashees' is to get these items on the return journey, but all too often they seem to have been forgotten about. On a recent trip we ended up having to 'stash' (although we did collect it on return) so I decided to check if there was another solution.The bag itself is of a good size and fits multiple bags on the longest trip, although my girlfriend's dog is a smallish terrier. The bag is sturdy enough that there's no risk of the bags being punctured, short of jumping on the 'dicky bag' and the seal seems solid, though I don't really sit and sniff it ...I like that the design is relatively discrete enough that I'd not have a clue what's inside it. Furthermore, I was pleased to see the carabiner that comes with the pouch is solid as I was expecting to have to replace it with a 'proper one'. This was not the case and it has served nicely, swinging off the back of the missus' rucksack.No complaints really.
