They take up very little room in your backpack or purse. These are super compact and yet the optics are impressive. Their clarity is great and the build quality is legitimate. No cheap plastic feel. Lots of quality rubber and good glass too. The weight feels just right for their small size. I used these on my recent Alaska cruise mostly for wildlife and glacier viewing and they were just great. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. Minus one star simply because they do not come with lens caps.
