Grit, dust, hair, sycamore tree blossom and seeds, crumbs, broken biscuits, larger bits of food all disappear without hassle. It's light enough to use on stairs and does the job on the surface, when getting the normal vacuum out seems such effort! I find as long as the filter is unclogged it can suck most things. The suck isn't the best in the world but it is a hand held vacuum so I guess it is to be expected. Folds down to a lovely small size and the charger is much like a phone charger so takes up no room at all, unlike many other hand held vacuum cleaners.
