I was somewhat hesitant to try this product because I had never heard of the manufacturer. I even went to their website to read up on the company and it was kinda bare-bones; didn't really have much info on the product. I was also looking for an ISO standard certification or something that ensured it was produced in a quality facility. I also checked Bodybuilding.com since they have decent product reviews for pre-workout supplements. Well, there was nothing on there either, so I went with the reviewers on Amazon and my gut, and purchased the product. I'm so glad I did. This product is AWESOME! The energy and Pump I get from this is so clean and without all the jitters I get from the other pre-workout supplements. I think will be a fan of this stuff for a while. Im never going back to the other stuff with all the weird chemical compounds that I can't pronounce. Its all about knowing what you're putting in your body, and this product allows you to do that. May the Gods of the gym be ever in your favour, or something like that. ### ⭐ A Splenda bomb with a little caffeine and no workout lift that doubles as diuretic. *by R***T on July 6, 2014* I lift religiously 6 days a week and have done so for years. I bought 4 cans of Hydro Hit to give it fair shake. I used it before every workout for months and as a former clinical trial researcher, the one constant I noticed was an irresistible urge to urinate frequently after 30 minutes. This is like the diuretic Lasix for me. It provided zero "lift" for me and it's a Splenda bomb. If you like Tang gone nasty sweet, you will like Hydro Hit's taste. I can drink a medium Tim Horton's coffee and get more jump with fewer trips to the can than I get with Hydro Hit.If I take too much Hydro Hit at a time, like a heaping scoop, I get a bad case of colon blow and gas and it becomes Hydro S-Hit.I'm better off taking a 30mg. Sudafed tablet for my allergies before I work out. I get a better pre-workout lift, pseudoephedrine is a lot cheaper than Hydro Hit and it doesn't make pee every 30 minutes for 2 hours.I also know exactly what is in Sudafed. The Hydro Hit folks took a liberal price increase on this product from the last time I bought this (February 2015) to today (July, 2015). It went from $14.99 to $19.99 a can. A huge price increase for a product that doesn't work and causes adverse events like frequent urination, cramping, diarrhea and gas? Really?After reading all the glowing 5 star reviews and based on my spending 30+ years in the pharma and biotech world I can say they are all pretty much marketing BS written by company plants who bought a can online at Amazon to be able to pad the 5 star stats. In the pharma world we had a saying - clinical research is the engine and sales marketing is the gas. Hydro Hit is generating a lot of gas in more ways than one. ### ⭐⭐ Taste is Decent but gave no energy *by M***T on February 6, 2014* I was hoping this would be a great pre-workout as it does not have a lot of the random stuff C4 and Pump-HD have. I used this for 2 weeks and I think i felt more tired after I took it than before.The taste is decent compared to C4. I would give the taste 7/10 however I would give the effectiveness a 1/10.And most pre workouts don't mess with my stomach however this one seemed to give me an upset stomach for 30-45 minutes after my workout. I only took this nothing else mixed with it and even didn't take my afterwork out protein shake due to the upset stomach.If you are looking for a more natural pre-workout I would recommend a few cups of coffee over this.
