Review: Warm Vanilla Cupcake - Umpqua oatmeal is delicious! It smells just like a warm vanilla cupcake, it has the perfect amount of vanilla flavor without being overly sweet. This oatmeal is very filling and satisfying and I have easily lost some extra pounds when I've wanted to by eating half a cup at breakfast and the other half for lunch. **The trick with this oatmeal is to get the right amount of (hot) water, follow the directions on the cup. I have not tried to but it can be prepare in the microwave also. I prepare it by boiling water and pouring it into the cup just a bit higher than the oats, replace the cover, wait three minutes, stir, re-cover and wait an additional two minutes. It results in a thick, chewy, creamy, delicious oatmeal that is healthy for you. (my only issue is that one of the ingredients is corn starch and I have a sensitivity to corn) Enjoy, btw the Jackpot flavor- berries, is also delicious!

I like the vanilla flavor and really like how convenient it is to take to work with me. I can pack it in my work bag, and just add the hot water and eat at my desk, mess-free. I think the price is worth it due to the convenience, flavor and portion, which is satisfying. The calories work for my dietary needs too.
