The kids and I use them, although both kids took the tips off almost immediately (because they like to frustrate me !) And they are fiddly to take the metal parts out if you don't have the tips on (hence the minus star) . The rubber one you can change without removing but the mesh one you can't (I had to squash a top in to it and twist to be able to take the metal part out as it's also harder to get to).
