We only use organic personal care products and don't use steroids. I make homemade cream using shea butter, coca butter, coconut oil and vitamin e oil. It keeps it mostly under control but his skin is always very dry. When the season started getting cold, he went out 1 day without pretreating with cream and wearing gloves. His hands were beet red, scaly and swollen. We applied our cream but because it was on his hands it kept wiping off in the sheets so even though it helped it didn't get the job done. I bought these gloves despite several negative reviews about size, stretching out and washability.These gloves cured the swelling and extreme redness in under 2 days. Within a week his hands were back to normal. I couldn't believe it...it was like a miracle. I made the mistake of skipping 1 night and they got red again. Put gloves back on and they were normal again after a day. I'm so grateful that I ignored the negativity. They fit perfectly and I wash them gently by hand with my son's organic body wash and lay them out to dry and they're fine. The fit remains good. He has sensory sensitivity disorder and the gloves are so soft he doesn't even feel that they're on. He even told me I should buy myself a pair because they're so fantastic. Naturally, for myself I went to the pharmacy and bought cheap ones...mistake. He felt them and said they were awful compared to his... I don't disagree.
