Moving upwards, the main base itself which is of a brickwork design needs definitely four people to put it in position as two people would struggle although not impossible with two people it is still somewhat unsafe given the weight of it. Next is the brown table part which the barbecue sits upon - this can also be managed with two people although they need to be strong and able-bodied people. It is easy to place the two concrete slabs which the charcoal sits upon and also the brown two sides and rear panel can also be handled easily with two people with the final chimney part which is white with needs four people to be able to pick it up and put it in place with some safety - two people will not do it on their own unless they are weightlifters. We did use fire cement where we could, however, without doubt it needs gluing together especially the two side brown panels which surround the actual grill itself. We used clamps of at least one meter in length to clamp the Brien 3 sides together whilst they were being glued as in my opinion there is no way the fire cement has the stickbility to keep it all together. Nevertheless, this is a great product and excellent value for money we've only just fired it all up and had our first barbecue and I anticipate many many years of happy barbecuing. Be careful with the lifting. Heed my advice, the heavy parts need 4 people i.e. one for each corner. Use very string exterygrads glue to stick together followed by fire rated cement and fire rated silicone. Make a concrete based and make it strong. Make sure it is level. On another note, the delivery driver was so helpful getting it through the garden gate on the pallet was probably the most difficult aspect of the BBQ, with his help and humour was again a success!! Can you confirm?** A: Hello - i am not sure which part you refer to, but the charcoal bed is the full width of the bbq grill and skewer with the ash tray in the center. You can use the full width of the bbq grill. Enjoy X ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ready for the World Cup and summer... *by M***U on 13 May 2014* ...firstly it's heavy, even for two men....it comes on a pallet and all major pieces are heavy. It took a few weeks to arrive but its here and in place. If you are on your own when you want to set it up forget it! The base is the heaviest piece so be careful - 100kg+ maybe. This is where a big skateboard comes in handy and a couple of delivery guys you can offer a drink ;) Load it on and wheel to where you want it but its still a two man lift, and some thick safety gloves are needed too. Instructions - you need fire resistant mortar (cement), the instructions suggest you could use it in some places but I would definitely use it for each section so everything sealed and tidy. One 5kg tub from B & Q ready mixed fire cement (or amazon now you know) will work and is plenty. £7.99, and then a trowel to apply it. I don't read instructions, but the bit about putting the heart of the BBQ in place with mortar and strings to hold it etc after applying it..read that bit. I had to make some adjustment for the grill to fit on all 3 levels. It's all in place, trial run happening as we speak..it's definitely well built and sturdy and will not move. It owns its place in the garden and I am very happy with it. I have bought many BBQs over the years, even expensive metal ones that rust after a few years...this looks much better and looks man enough for the job, and for many years.
