Thank you amazon for making it right. *by J***R on October 2, 2020* Hello, I don’t usually write reviews but here we go. I purchased this scooter on September 21st for my sons 7th birthday. It’s October 2nd. Charged the battery for 24hrs as required before first use. On October 1st the scooter quit working. No damage and very light use kept indoors.Called amazon who was amazing by the way they offered me a full refund even though they didn’t have to.Amazon stayed on the line while they called Razor. Razor informed me the scooter was manufactured in early 2017 and the batteries needed to be replaced. The only way razor would begin to start a claim for replacement batteries I had to send them a proof of purchase to start the claim. Even though we had all the info and was amazon was on the line confirmed the purchase. After they received the proof they then would start to process the replacement batteries. After I received the replacement batteries I would then have to set up a service appt. with a authorized Razor repair shop. We are talking weeks possibly a month plus here for a scooter that 2 weeks old. After I asked the razor representative if it wasn’t the batteries then they would have to continue to trouble shoot. Shame on Razor they refused to send a new unit. I would stay away from ever purchasing another product from Razor and I think they need to be more upfront selling these products and knows they are built for children. Sending a 3 year old scooter outrageous.
