It's quite convenient. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value kindle *by R***M on April 26, 2025* I bought the 2022 base model Kindle because I just wanted something basic for reading, and honestly, it’s been perfect. The screen is super clear now with the higher resolution, and books look way sharper than I expected for the cheapest model. It’s easy on the eyes too, even after reading for a couple of hours. It’s small and light, really easy to throw in a bag or just carry around. Battery life has been great - I’m reading almost every day and still only need to charge it once every couple weeks. I’m also glad they switched to USB-C so I don’t have to carry an extra cable just for this. Only thing is it doesn’t have waterproofing or the fancy warm light that the more expensive Kindles have, but for just reading books, I don’t miss any of that. If you just want a simple Kindle that does its job really well, this is a great option.
