I did thorough research before I purchased it, and found out it is made in China for around $50. Even though it was $89 at Amazon, it has a lot better quality than most of the Chinese brands that Amazon sells. If Stuhrling spent around $50 to manufacture, I wouldn't mind paying $89 retail.
