Review: Great for Small Hands - Update: This lasted about 6 months with daily use (and a toddler that drops things). Now it works if I get the USB angled just right. For the price point, I'd still recommend it or buy it again. Original: I got this to replace a different small mouse that my preschooler uses for his online class. PROS: • It works great with his small hands. It's even easy for me to use. • The retractable cord makes it nice and portable. • It functions as it should. • Great price at less than $5! (As far as gaming goes, my son's classes are play-based learning, and this mouse works well with multiple, rapid clicks. We haven't tested it beyond that.) CONS: • The small size might not be comfortable for those with bigger hands. • The retractable cord might not last too long if kids play roughly with it. Overall: I recommend this mouse, because it is inexpensive, portable, and functional.

A: Yes, it can hang from the laptop while connected.  However, if it's not supported by a surface (i.e., on a desk, table, etc.) and it is swinging freely, it will make any annoying noise.

A: To retract retract the cord, give both ends a little tug and it will wind itself back into the flat cylinder in the middle. It's easier to do than it is to describe!

This is a great purchase! I love the retractable cord. It makes it easier to put in my bag and it doesn't get bundled up. It does seem a little small at first but you get used to it after awhile. It works accurately and looks just like a normal mouse. I bought a few in different colors for my kids as well.
