Second bag leaked. *by B***R on August 15, 2018* This weight bag cannot be used by itself. I have eleven umbrellas. I attempted to use it as a base alone with a small umbrella. It did not work. I put each of the two bags on top of other bases. After about 2 weeks, one bag started leaking. There was no visible puncture. It was a slow leak. I didn't think it would be accepted for a return, so I discarded it. The other umbrella held a large 14 foot umbrella very well, until we had a storm with high winds. My umbrella blew over and 2 of the "arms" broke. That was an expensive consequence. I will use the bag on a smaller umbrella, but that is not the original purpose for which I ordered the bag. I have ordered another 14 foot umbrella and a different base, the kind of base that successfully held my 3 other 14 foot umbrellas in the storm. I will not order these bags again, unfortunately. By the way, the umbrella was folded down, not up, during the storm. These bags were less expensive than the "successful" bases but when you combine the cost of the base under the bag, they are not less expensive. Because of having to replace the 14 foot umbrella and base, it was actually very costly to attempt to use these bases. I am sorry to give a negative review. I know this affects the seller, but other prospective buyers need to be aware. I figured with a 55 lb umbrella base and the added 80 lbs of water weight would work--It did not. The umbrella blew over, toppled my large potted plant, Rhino BaseMate ripped and everything landed on my newly planted bush. Did not meet my expectation. ### ⭐ We purchased 2 of these for Le Papillon 10ft cantilever ... *by D***. on August 1, 2018* We purchased 2 of these for Le Papillon 10ft cantilever umbrellas that we purchased at the same time. We asked specific questions about them working with these umbrellas and we were assured they would work. They don’t. The pole on umbrella is rectangular, the hole in center of this base is round and when you try to turn the umbrella (which rotates) the inside of the hole twists around the pole and trying to turn the umbrella is impossible.
