There is a blast of scent when you first spray and then smooths as it settles. It work great. No aluminum. My son uses it and he is allergic to many scent but he can use the cucumber without any reaction. Any negatives? The spray is hard to start at first, you may have to push down hard but only for the first spray. No antiperspirant effect but that's good -I believe that it's good and natural to sweat. Native controls odor and that's what we all need. I bought the coconut vanilla and love it. It really is the best deodorant.
