Nevertheless I followed the instructions to the letter. All was going reasonably well (the odd hole misalignment but nothing you can’t deal with), until I got to the poles.These are two sections, instruction number 18 says ‘insert the smaller diameter end of an upper enclosure pole into the larger diameter end of a lower enclosure pole and align screw holes’. Sorry, but the upper pole has a plug in one end, and a larger diameter than the other pole.You’re being pedantic I hear you say. I could agree, but I then realised once I’d completed all of the poles, that the hole at the top of the upper pole was on the OUTSIDE of the trampoline - the net is supposed to be installed on the INSIDE! So I’m disassembling everything again to see where I went wrong.In the end I’ve just missed out the lower locking screws and turned the poles inward. This has meant at least that I can install the net. Which is extremely tight.And on the very last turn of the very last screw, the steel grommet ripped out of the net, meaning it is now dangling down.It looks like a decent piece of kit but the engineering seems all wrong. If anyone can tell me where I went wrong, I’d be grateful.
