This limits its invasiveness while camping, hunting, tailgating, and restoring backup power. The WEN 4800W Inverter Generator is also equipped with fuel shutoff. This feature turns off the flow of fuel, allowing for the generator to use up the remaining fuel from the carburetor before automatically shutting down. This helps fight the build-up and blockages caused by stagnant fuel inside of the carburetor, minimizing maintenance while prolonging the unit’s lifespan. Designed to mirror a pure sine wave, this generator limits total harmonic distortion to under 0.3 percent at no load and under 1.2 percent at full load, making it safe to run laptops, cellphones, monitors, tablets and other sensitive electronics. We just lost power for 9 days during the Palisades fire and this generator shipped the day after I ordered and came in literally 20-ish minutes before our power went out. I had a neighbor help set it up and looked very easy to do. I was able to easily start it by myself and run multiple extension cords to power essentials. We plugged wifi, tv, phone chargers, refrigerator, deep freezer, cappuccino machine, and air fryer. When using the kitchen appliances we would unplug the deep freezer or refrigerator to make sure we didn’t exceed wattage. Very easy to just unplug and plug what was needed in. This saved us! The only thing I wish we could have done was plugged our water heater in and some better lighting. We are now looking at the higher wattage as we are already looking at another power shutoff Monday. I have recommended this one to so many people already! 9 straight days of use from the moment we took it out of the box. I recommend getting 50+ feet for the cords and power strips to plug in multiple things via extension cords. It ran all night long without going off from gas usage. We got 3 2gallon gas cans and a 5 gallon and used a siphoning device for that to transfer gas. It would last 8 hours easy on a tank. Easy peasy! I started it multiple times no husband needed. A child could operate easily. Very user friendly. Highly recommend. Great price and it’s very lovely looking and quiet. The guys that helped set me up asked me for the link bc they couldn’t believe how well it worked and how quiet it was. Thanks for saving our lives this last week +! Sorry for the jumbled review but wanted to make sure to get all the information out there.
