But I need the straps all the time to keep my favorite sunglasses from slipping down my nose in the heat & humidity. It's a pet peeve. These straps are small, thin, unobtrusive, and easy to pack or stash in a purse. Once I've got them on, they do an excellent job of keeping my glasses in place. The only challenge—which may be unique to me—is that taking my glasses on and off while using the strap can be a little frustrating. The hair gets messed up; the hat I'm wearing when I'm outside gets in the way. That's a challenge with all straps if you need them all the time. But when using them for an extended period without having to take your glasses on/off frequently, they're the best I've ever tried.
