Regards Jenny **Q: Are there any other items I would need to buy to build this model?** A: Every basic tool to build the kit is supplied however you will need to buy varnish should you wish to do a better job as well as some additional paint should you wish to be a bit more adventurous. You will need wood glue of course. There is no need to buy additional tools such as wood bending, shroud & other rigging equipment as there are ways around these tasks. There are good tips to be found on U Tube and other websites especially ones about the Bounty showing finished models. This kit is a basic kit and will not result in a 100% authentic replica model but it is good for anyone starting out in model sailing ship building.
