The lanyards are sturdy yet have some stretch to them. Once you adjust the length it doesn't really budge. That taps are really strong too. The lanyards is easy to wash as well with a laundry soap bar. great to wear cross body under a hoodie or jacket to keep your phone protected when riding public transit
