PMC Plus 5g Sheet is a versatile and eco-friendly Precious Metal Clay designed for creating unique fine silver jewelry. Weighing 5.3g, it offers a net silver weight of 5g once fired, and is suitable for all skill levels. This firmer clay can be kiln-fired at 900°C for 10 minutes and can be hallmarked as fine silver, making it a perfect choice for sustainable and high-quality jewelry making.

## Description

Precious Metal Clay Plus is a firmer variety of Precious Metal Clay which can be used to make beautiful fine silver jewellery designs and is particularly suitable for fingerprint jewellery. This sheet form PMC+ measures 120mm x 30mm x 0.5mm. It is ideal for origami style designs and for creating small, decorative components. The sheet is fully flexible and does not dry out. It can be folded, or cut to shape using scissors or a paper punch. Designs can also be drawn directly onto the sheet in pencil, as these marks will be removed during firing. Once fired, PMC+ can be hallmarked as fine silver (.999). PMC+ has a shrinkage rate of 12%. This sheet of PMC+ weighs a total of 5.3g, and gives a net silver weight of 5g once fired. When torch firing, a soft flame will appear around the piece until the binder has burnt away. When this flame has disappeared, heat the piece to the point where a pale orange glow is visible and keep the piece heated at this colour for 5 minutes. When kiln firing, PMC+ should be fired in a kiln at 800°C for 30 minutes. This is an eco-friendly product, containing recycled silver.
