Beware! - I normally use the Bob Martin wormer for my Parson Russell and wish I had this time now. First time using this poison. Doggo seemed absolutely fine after worming in the morning, had his tea approx 8 hrs later as advised, again fine, so thought all would be well. By the early hours of the morning he was wretching and trying to be sick. When I got up at about 6am I could still hear him wretching and he had sicked up a small mouthful..tea already digested thankfully. He was very listless, ears back and really feeling sorry for himself, and very restless and still trying to throw up. When I got back from work later that morning, still really ill and trembling. Checked his weight and I knew I had follwed the instructions carefully. Poor love was under the weather and off his food most of the day, thankfully by early evening he picked up and he was his usual self, unlike some poor dogs that are ill for days. He really was quite ill initially though. This stuff makes many dogs ill, therefore I do NOT recommend! Never again. Review: Not effective on most common worms - I bought this for my dogs. Later I had to go to the vet about something else. She asked about worming, I told her that they were wormed. She asked what I used and I found it on my phone. She then went to her formulary (book of all drugs) and looked it up. It does not get rid of the most common worm and others. The manufacturers do not know how it works. There was no warning to inform owners of the limited effectiveness. The only effective wormers are on prescription Just wasted time and money. Can I use again now?** A: Hi there, I would double check with a vet before giving more wormer tablets to your dog, as more may cause tummy upset. She developed ataxia and kidney damage, costing us £400 in vet bills. The vet has reported this product to the manufacturer.
