I was very disappointed in the suction of this tool. If you just want to use it for fine dust I guess it will work. But if your looking for something to connect to your planer or router table you will be disappointed. First I had to make a cart (2X4 's and some old casters) so I could get the dust collector close to my planer (provide better suction). Then the dust collector would get clogged very quickly with sawdust. I found that there are plastic safety shields on the input and output of the dust collector. I removed these shields so that the sawdust would go into the bag without clogging.
