I bought it for my Stihl FS56 and ... *by B***X on February 15, 2018* Wow, this thing is amazing. I bought it for my Stihl FS56 and it rips down everything. I was cutting down 1" diameter saplings as fast as I was cutting through a thorn vine and the cutter didn't even know it. I didn't even know it. I was clearing sections of scrub out as fast as I used to cut grass with this thing. I even hit some metal fence and stakes and it dang near cut through those too. When I used it to take down 2" plus trees then you could tell it was near it's limit but I still cut down about half a dozen between 2-3 inches. Watch it though it will yank on you. There was once where I got it stuck about an 2" into a 10" diameter tree on accident from running wide open and it kicking back and hitting the tree. Took me about a minute to get it out as it was stuck pretty good. I was amazed at how fast it sank right in. I've worked this thing pretty hard in the 40 minutes I had it out and it is discolored brown from heat for using it like a saw to take down trees so we will see how long it keeps a sharp edge for. But I hit metal, rocks, dirt and it still cuts like a champ. I even used it to cut branches off the trees. I like it better than my chainsaw. When it goes dull I will definitely get another. You just need the adapter kit which is about $5 and you are good to go. The only thing I would suggest is to wear some steel toe boots when using this thing, because if it kicks back and hits you in the foot, it will probably take your toes off. Yes, it would happen that fast. Nest time i am using it, steel toes will be on, and after what it did to the steel post I hit, even that might not protect me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This blade is everything it claims! *by D***A on August 12, 2018* We had some tough brush, thick among our apple trees. (Yes, we let it get WAY out of control.) The blade that came with the brush kit for my Echo SRM 266T was fine, but went dull in the really heavy stuff. This Renegade Brush and Brambles blade easily cut through the rest of that mess and was as monstrously sharp when I got done as when I started. Those carbide teeth are the secret. Keep it out of the dirt and off the steel fence posts and anything you didn't intend to cut. Start your cuts from one side or the other, but not the front, because as others have said, the blade will kick hard right. Keep helpers out of the kick zone and everyone will go home to cut brush another day. I had some thick Johnson grass in the area I was working and I found this blade could cut that too with broad swings at full throttle. That's very tough grass. You can see the apple trees again! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great tool for heavy brush *by M***C on April 20, 2018* If you have a half-way decent gas trimmer (mine is a Stihl FS56, so mid-grade) and you have a lot of brush to get rid of, this is a great tool. Figuring out how to get the trimmer head off and get the blade on might be a little challenging, but there's a bunch of Youtube vids that I highly recommend watching first. Once you're using it, it can be a little scary at first - after all it's a carbide tipped saw blade whirring around at over 1000 rpm. Mine loosened up a little after about 1/2 hr of use, so you might want to check it and tighten as needed just so it doesn't go flying off like OddJob's hat in the old James Bond movie. My challenge was/is bamboo and it cuts through it like a hot knife through butter. It's also great for branches up to about 2" or so.
